Meet The Teaching Team
Miss Van Onselen
From a young age I have always dreamed of becoming a primary teacher, and I feel very lucky to now be working in a role that I am so passionate about. My journey began when I completed a level 3 qualification in childcare and education at college, before going on to study Early years primary education at Chester University, where I was proud to graduate with a first class degree. Since graduating I have built up my experience doing day to day supply work and some long term positions and now I am delighted I get the opportunity to work with the wonderful EYFS class at Newtown for the time being. Outside of school however I enjoy horseriding and musical arts. Both have been a passion of mine for a long time and give me a great sense of clam and joy.
Mr Roberts
I have been working within Early Years for over 14 years, working with children from babies up to 5 years old. I have also been involved in managing after school clubs for over 10 years. My qualifications include Level 3 in Children's Development and Education, Makaton and Understanding Challenging Behaviours. I am passionate about Forest Schools. I enjoy spending time with my two children. I am also a keen football fan, a dedicated darts player and I love theatre trips!
